At 14:57 Hrs. 71 crews were alerted to a possible car fire in the 300 block of Main St in the Borough. Squad 71 made the response and upon arriving on scene discovered it to be a one vehicle accident into a parked vehicle with air bag deployment, no fire and no injuries. Crews worked quickly to secure the battery on the vehicle that was hit and stood by for PSP and Tow’s arrival before securing the striking vehicle due to front end damage and placement of the vehicle. Upon Tows arrival 71 crews secured the second vehicle and cleaned up the fluids on the roadway and made themselves available. Crews operated for about a 1 ½ hours.
