Members traveled to Fireline Equipment on June 25th to pick up the new Squad. In the past week members have spend countless hours everyday mounting equipment and getting the apparatus ready to begin extensive driver training sessions.

The new Squad had the following capabilities.......

Fire Suppression - 650 gallon water tank, 1500 GPM pump, Foam pro 1600 system, 25 gallons of class "A" foam, 75 gallons of AFFF class "B" foam, 5 pre-connects, deck gun, 1500 feet of 5" supply hose and a full compliment of ground ladders.

Rescue - 4 pre-connected hydraulic reels with 100' of hose each (2 combi tools, cutter and ram), 3 additional rams, 2 reciprocating saws, full set of air bags, high lift jacks, 2 electric power units, gas power unit, (4) 1500 watt lights, 15 KW generator, ropes and a full compliment of water rescue gear.

Also a thanks to the Eden Fire Company for allowing this transaction to take place so the truck could "ripen" into its new color !
