Last night's in-station training consisted of members working on basic techniques of rescuing fellow firefighters who have become trapped or incapacitated while working at a building fire

The lesson was centered around locating a downed firefighter, assessing their physical status, and preparing them for removal from the building or hazardous area.

Future training sessions will build on the practices from last night and become more complex to prepare our members for performing in these types of situations.
